About the role As an Information Officer, you will be part of a team that responds to Adult Social Care enquiries and concerns via telephone or email. You will be responsible for actioning referrals and providing high-quality information, advice and signposting. The key focus of this service is to support Wiltshire’s vulnerable adults to live as independently as possible, within their community. This holistic approach and the support that you will offer will be essential in the service achieving this. The role of Information Officer is an excellent opportunity for you to demonstrate your customer service skills and gain knowledge within a social care setting by being part of a supportive, collaborative and multi-disciplinary team. About you We’re looking for someone with social care and customer service experience, who has the key listening and communication skills to build effective relationships with vulnerable adults, to achieve positive outcomes. You will be required to display a courteous and professional attitude, as well as the ability to analyse and prioritise your own work and that of the team. Being able to work as part of a team in a busy and fast environment also is essential for this role.
